Here at MGF we like to recognize digital achievements - particularly ones that benefit us, the end user. Today we will take a look at one of my personal favorites, Airbnb. 

Aside from going through a recent re-brand, the worlds leading peer-to-peer lodging network has incorporated two quick elements that speak to any digital native and serve functionality with style. 

The first element that stands out is the subtle video looped hero banner at the top of the site. Both visually stunning - evoking travel, landscapes etc. - and practical drawing attention to the primary feature: search. 

In addition to this great use of digital capability and stylistic choice, Airbnb has also used flat design as well as anyone I've seen. Again this is a design style with no shadows that works great for mobile to get that nice tile look on the site.
